Tim has been a solicitor in the state of New South Wales since 1996. With over 26 years of experience, Tim is a well-respected and trusted legal adviser.
Tim was previously employed as a Solicitor and Senior Associate at Norton Smith Lawyers and as a Senior Solicitor at Ebsworth & Ebsworth Lawyers.
Following these endeavours, Tim worked for the NSW government, specifically the NSW Privacy Commissioner, NSW Maritime and NSW Vocational Education and Training Board
Before joining Sydney Legal Advisers, Tim spent 10 years at the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
Tim specialises in insurance law, litigation, maritime law and contract law. Tim is vastly experienced in preparing and conducting hearings before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Australian Federal Court.
Qualifications
Tim holds multiple qualifications including:
- Bachelor of Commerce – University of NSW
- Master of Commerce – University of NSW
- Bachelor of Laws – University of NSW
- Master of Laws – University of Melbourne
- Diploma of Education – University of Tasmania
- Tasmanian Teachers Certificate
- Admitted as a solicitor on 19 December 1996
Outside of the law, Tim enjoys watching sport, particularly the AFL and is known to read to children at his local school every Monday.
